Road trip to Rochester NY to visit my husband's fam... Currently about 5 hrs in to our 9 hour drive, and both our baby and dog have done so well! I, however, am ready to get out of the back seat!! 😉 If you are on summer break, I hope you are enjoying it- if you're still counting down, I hope it comes quickly for ya!!

School's out for summer!
It's here! Summer Break! Although I had a lot of sweet kiddos that I will miss, I am super excited to spend this summer with my now 10 month old baby- Amelia! So excited to take her swimming and to the park and just enjoy spending time with her. Although I would love to say it will be a relaxing summer, I'm sure it will be busy and in August I'll be wondering where it went... Stay tuned for new TPT products as well as my updated blog that I am so excited for! This picture is how I'm spending my first day of break...

5 days and counting :)
Wow! It has been a busy week in kindergarten! We are so close to the end, and they are very aware!! 5 days is it! My kiddos had a BLAST during field day, and I did too! It was organized very well this year and the weather was perfect! What more can you ask for?
As you all know, the last few days is just survival, right?? I'm trying to keep their schedule as "normal" as possible, but I'm pretty sure that I'm as anxious as they are for summer break to be here at this point! One way we're staying busy is working on their memory books. We are just doing a page at a time, but they are loving recalling all of the fun we had this year!
I also JUST finished my Father's Day printables. I hope to work on them next week! They are perfect for my kids to show dad how very special he is! If you have not been there- please check out my TpT store!

Thanks! For those of you who aren't as close to the end as I am- at least tomorrow is Friday, and the weekend is near!!!

End of Year Memory Book
I wanted a memory book for my kindergarteners to work on that is age appropriate. The one I created is simple- but perfect for a kindergartener or first grader. It has room for them to draw a picture, and room for a brief statement about the memory. I hope you like it as much as I do! I plan for my kiddos to work on it next week!
Check it out at my store while it's on sale!

Here Goes!
So here goes... my first blog post! I'm excited to share what I do in my kindergarten classroom, and learn from all of the other teachers out there! We're getting close to the end of the school year- 14 days and counting! The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in my school will begin their testing next week. To kick off testing and we have a theme each year. This year's theme goes with the Kentucky Derby- "Finish the Race".. To celebrate we had a "Derby Day" at school. Students and teachers got into the Derby spirit! The other kindergarten teachers and I decided to put a twist on the theme and be Superheroes- as all teachers are, right?! Here is a picture :)
